The U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims on 16 August 2006 has ruled that the Department of Veterans Affairs has illegally denied Sea Service veterans, who were aboard vessels in close proximity to the Republic of Viet Nam coast, service connection for disabilities resulting from exposure to dioxin (Agent Orange.) Over a year has now passed and the VA General Counsel has decided to appeal the decision! Ah the "bureacratic vunder kids"!!!!! Click below to see the full court decision.

IMPORTANT! The next National Convention will be held in Lansing , Michigan August 25th thru 31, 2008. Registration information and lodging reservations at the host hotel, the Holiday Inn Lansing West Conference Center will be sent to all echelon officers and also be included in the Catholic War Veterans magazine in the near future. Watch this space for more detailed information as it becomes available. The next Quarterly National Board Meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn Old Town in Alexandria VA.
